About Big Homie Street Mentoring/Ministry
Our Mission
Big Homies Street Mentoring/Ministry is dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black and Brown communities through mentorship, ministry, and wrap around services. We strive to support individuals impacted by incarceration and provide guidance, resources, and hope to those in need. Our mission is rooted in unity, compassion, and a commitment to breaking generational cycles and building stronger futures for all.
Big Homie Street Mentoring/Ministry was founded in 2017 by Tommy Acosta who has passed away Sept 1, 2023. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We educate on formerly incarcerated rights to vote and now give awareness to cancer patients in memory of Tommy Acosta Sr.
Our Team
Our team is made up of community workers, certified in run away prevention, trauma and post trauma.
Our Partners
We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to provide wrap around services to our youth and adults.
